Magnetic and radiometric signatures of alkaline rocks and gabbros from the Ponta Grossa Arch, southeastern Paraná Basin, Brazil

We present airborne magnetic and radiometric characteristics of some igneous suites from the Ponta Grossa Arch Alkaline Province (southern Brazil), namely Bairro da Cruz, Banhadão, Barra do Itapirapuã, Mato Preto Tunas complexes, Teixeira Phonolite, Itapirapuã Nepheline syenite, José Fernandes Gabbro. applied susceptibility 3D inversions using total anomaly data together with its analytic signal vertical integral for Fernandes, intrusions. Gamma-ray spectrometric methods involved analyses basic, ternary, ratio maps, thorium-normalized parameters, radioelement concentrations at sampled points. Stacked profiles geophysical were generated each rock. The intrusions are associated dipolar anomalies normal polarity whereas their show low values. results allowed us to verify that all complexes enriched mainly in eTh. Carbonatite bodies showed highest contents eTh eU. Our findings consistent responses alkaline impact understanding signatures, especially ones, provinces Brazil.
